Cancellation and Refund Policy

At Betterliving, we aim to provide clear and fair service terms for consultations, design services, and project-related work. This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and project payments are handled.

Consultations and Bookings

If a consultation or meeting is scheduled, clients are encouraged to notify us as early as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule. Refund eligibility for any advance consultation fee, if charged, will depend on the notice period and the work already committed by our team.

Design and Project Services

For architecture, interior design, planning, procurement, or project-based services, payments made for completed work, submitted concepts, site visits, drawings, planning, or other delivered services are generally non-refundable. This is because time, expertise, and professional resources are committed once the work begins.

Advance Payments

Any advance payment made to confirm a service or project may be adjusted against work already completed, consultations provided, administrative preparation, or third-party costs already incurred. Any refundable balance, if applicable, will be determined after reviewing the project stage and actual costs involved.

Procurement and Custom Orders

If Betterliving assists with procurement, custom furniture, materials, fixtures, or third-party orders, refunds or cancellations may depend on supplier terms, custom order status, and whether the items have already been ordered, processed, or delivered. Custom-made or specially ordered items are generally non-returnable unless there is a proven defect or supplier-approved exception.

Project Delays and Client Changes

Refunds will not normally apply where delays, scope changes, or interruptions are caused by the client, site conditions, supplier issues, approval delays, or other factors outside Betterliving’s direct control. In such cases, project timelines and costs may be revised separately.

Requesting a Refund

Any request for cancellation or refund should be made in writing by email with full project or service details. Each request will be reviewed based on the agreed scope, project stage, completed work, third-party commitments, and payment history.
